Lisa Ronald is Webmaster for Wilderness.net, Connect.wilderness.net, and the Carhart Center. Technically, a University of Montana Wilderness Institute employee, Lisa plays a critical role toward meeting the Carhart mission. Lisa started in her position in 2003 and has guided Wilderness.net to become the go-to source for all things wilderness. Recognizing the need for a professional social network for wilderness managers, Lisa launched Connect.wilerness.net in 2009. Her contacts within the wilderness community and varied background in conservation, science, distance learning, new media, and technology continue to facilitate diverse partnerships with government, academia, corporations, and non-profits. Lisa is playing a critical role in coordinating communications, event planning, and fundraising for the 50th Wilderness Conference and a variety of other high profile activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act. Prior to serving as webmaster for Wilderness.net, Lisa worked as both a journalist and website developer. Lisa holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry, a B.A. degree in Journalism and an M.S. degree in Forestry, all from the University of Montana.
